With more than 17 years of experience in Development Management, Project Management & Architect, Chiang is passionate about creating values through built forms.

After graduating from the University of Melbourne in 2006, Chiang was trained as an Architect for 8 years working in Australia with SJB, Taylor Oppenheim Architects, Nicholas & Alexander Architects.

His experience included Rosso Apartments, the Rathedowne, Union Street Apartments, Camberwell Library and a variety of school projects.

Chiang was registered as an architect with Architects Registration Board of Victoria (ARBV) since 2010.

In 2013 Chiang returned to Malaysia and involved himself with Design & Project Management, working for Sunway Property, Pavilion and Tropicana. Since 2017 Chiang obtained PMP Certification from Project Management Institue (PMI) Malaysia.

2023, Chiang returned to Melbourne and serve as Senior Project Architect working on a variety of residential, education and commercial projects under Stanton Dahl Architects.

  • Carry out value engineering exercise. My team achieved savings of up to $4.5 million through the NSC award & $870,000 through VE exercise, representing 5% increase in overall PBT.

Design Management Skills

  • Prepare test-fits, feasibility options and development data and prepare feasibility studies in conjunction with finance team.

  • Proven record in delivering 15% Profit Before Tax (PBT) from Feasibility Studies.

  • Review and appraise design options from consultant team to optimize project outcomes.

Construction Knowledge

  • Holistic technical knowledge across all aspects of building design, including structural, civil, mechanical, electrical services, lift, hydraulic services etc.

  • Fully across latest developments in NCC, AS, Rescode, Bushfire, OH&S, EPA requirements, as well as State Government’s policy on housing and development.
